Visiting a new church can be intimidating, so here are some quick tips to help you on your first visit with us.
WHAT TO WEAR
Some dress in shorts and t-shirts, while most dress in casual attire. We realize that we are located in a resort town and if you are on vacation, come as you are. Flip-flops included!
GUEST PARKING
There is parking for guests in the upper parking lot located off Beach Drive (201 Beach Drive), where you will enter the Sanctuary. When visiting our Office, Child Care Center or Fellowship Hall; parking is located on the lower lot off of Sandalwood Drive.
WORSHIP SERVICE
We begin our worship service in the Sanctuary each Sunday at 10:30 AM. We have a nursery for ages 0-4 years during the worship service, but not Sunday School. Worship at FBC Destin includes singing and praising God, prayer and biblical preaching. Each service lasts about an hour.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
There are small group Sunday School classes at 9:30 AM every Sunday.
WEDNESDAY EVENING SERVICE

MEMBERSHIP & BAPTISM BELIEFS
If you are interested in joining with First Baptist Destin and becoming a member, you can do this at the end of the Worship service during the Invitation song time. There, the pastor will ask you if you have made a commitment to Christ and if you have been baptized.
A person who receives Jesus Christ as Savior by personal faith, who professes Him publicly at any worship service, and who indicates a commitment to follow Christ as Lord, is a candidate for Baptism. Baptism is by immersion in water and is an important step in your commitment to follow Christ. Baptisms are scheduled by the church office and take place during the Sunday morning Worship service.
