Christian Academy

Destin Christian Academy was founded in 1995 as First Baptist Academy, as an outreach ministry of First Baptist Church of Destin.  The Academy’s establishment was preceded by a well-proven pre-school, that had offered kindergarten since 1990, using the Bible-based curriculum A Beka.   Over the years, this ministry has grown to offer a well rounded Christian education program for children in kindergarten through the 5th grade.

First Baptist is excited about what the Lord has done in the Academy and equally excited about what our school has to offer.  We have qualified Christian educators at every level.  We offer internet accessible computers in each classroom, physical education, Foreign Language, music, art, and library.  We have Chapel every Wednesday and daily Bible study in every class.  We are thrilled to offer a Christian based curriculum to our community, as an alternative to public school.

First Baptist Church feels strongly that God has ordained the Academy for such a time as this.  The vision is for the Academy to continue to grow for the sake of the children and for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
